Death Notice

BELDIN. Mrs. Dollie, age 56, widow of Verne Beldin, died Thursday at home of daughter, Mrs. Lloyd Brokman of McClelland.

Funeral Monday at 2 p.m. at Woodring's chapel, with burial in the Plumer cemetery in Mills county. The body is at Woodring funeral home.


Mrs. Verne Beldin

Mrs. Dollie Beldin, 56, widow of Verne E. Beldin died Thursday, October 24th at the home of her daughter Mrs. Lloyd Brokman at McClelland.

Dollie Gibson was born March 6, 1890, at Atwood, Kansas. In 1911 she was united in marriage to Verne Beldin at Trenton, Neb. and came to Mills county. They resided on the Sam Welch farm south of Pacific Junction before moving to Council Bluffs.

Mrs. Beldin was preceded in death by a daughter Lucille, (Mrs. Don Spetman) who died October 3, 1945, (and) by her husband Verne Beldin who died February 19, 1946. Besides her daughter Mrs. Lloyd Brokman, (she is survived by) four grandchildren, Nancy and Donnie Brokman, and Dona Lou and Sylvia Spetman (and) three brothers Harry Gibson, of Oxford, Neb., Ira Carl Gibson, Newark, N. J. and Charles Gibson of Albion, Ill.

Funeral services were held Monday October 28 at 2 p. m. at Woodring Chapel in Council Bluffs, Rev. Fannie Overholt of the Mennonite church officiated. Burial was in the Plumer cemetery in Mills county.

Mr. and Mrs. V. T. Beldin and Mr. and Mrs. Ross Stouder of Pacific Junction attended the funeral services.
