Bernard H. Brandt, 68, Route 1, died at an Omaha hospital Friday after a short illness.

Brandt lived his entire lifetime in the farm home in which he was born. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include: widow, Margaretta; brother, Claus Brandt of Route 1; three sisters, Mrs. Ena Poore of Route 1, Mrs. Mary Klindt of Julesburg, Colo. and Mrs. Henrietta Green of Glenwood, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Meyer Chapel. The Rev. W. E. Wickland, pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Plumer Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the Heart Fund.


Bernard Brandt Dies At Age of 68 Years

Funeral services for Bernard H. Brandt, 68, route 1, Council Bluffs, were held Tuesday from Meyer Chapel in Council Bluffs.

The Rev. W. E. Wicklund officiated and burial was in Plumer cemetery.

Mr. Brandt died Friday at an Omaha hospital after a brief illness. He lived his entire lifetime in the farm home in which he was born.

Surviving are his widow, Margaretta; a brother, Claus Brandt of route 1, Council Bluffs; three sisters, Mrs. Ena Poore of route 1, Council Bluffs, Mrs. Mary Klindt of Julesburg, Colo., and Mrs. Henrietta Green of Glenwood.
