Charles B. Brandt

Funeral services for Charles B. Brandt, 66, Greenbriar Apartments, will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cutler Funeral Home Chapel, the Rev. Thomas D. Shirley officiating.

Mr. Brandt died Saturday at his residence.

He was a lifetime resident of the Council Bluffs area and was engaged in farming.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Michael (Elaine) Brown of Council Bluffs and Mrs. Roger (Claudia) Gehring of Krelinger, West Germany; two sons, Russel and Boyd, both of Council Bluffs; mother, Mrs. Maude Brandt of Council Bluffs; two brothers, Henry and Jack, both of Council Bluffs; three sisters, Mrs. Jack (Anne) Freudenfeld of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Gene (Alice) Walker of Houston, Texas, and Mrs. George (June) Stephens of Chagrin Falls, Ohio; and nine grandchildren.

Burial will be in the Plumer Settlement Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Cutler Chapel. The casket will be closed following the visitation.

Shirley, Pastor, Valley View Baptist hurh, officiating. Interment: Plumer Settlement Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the Cutler Chapel Tuesday evening, 7-8 p.m. Casket will be closed following visitation and not reopened.
