Mrs. Lydia S. Gosch, 53, wife of Herman F. Gosch, 608 Mill street, died at her home Friday evening following an illness of one month.

Mrs. Gosch was born in Iowa. She had been a resident of Council Bluffs for the last five years. She was a member of the Lutheran church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three daughters, Eleanor and Leona Gosch at home, and Mrs. Pearl Crane of Council Bluffs; two sons, Delbert of Denver and Arnold of Omaha; her father, John Young of Council Bluffs; three brothers, Gus Young of Denver and Arthur and Albert Young of Council Bluffs; one sister, Mrs. Everett Emerick of Pender, Neb., and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at Cutler's chapel Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. Martin Mueller officiating. Burial will be in Plumer Settlement cemetery.


Funeral services for Mrs. Lydia Gosch were held at Cutler's chapel Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. Martin Mueller officiating. Music was furnished by Rev. Mr. and Mrs. Mueller and Carl Jesse. Pallbearers were Herman Young, Fred Thieschafer, Leon Waite, Ernest Geise, Henry Bonnes and Henry Thieschafer. Burial was in the Plumer Settlement cemetery.


Several from this locality attended the funeral of Mrs. Lydia Gosch, which was held Monday afternoon at Cutler's. Burial was in the Plumer Settlement Cemetery. Mrs. Gosch was formerly Lydia Young, well known resident of this Community.
