John Keller Pioneer of County, is Dead

John Keller, 81, farmer and resident of Mills and Pottawattamie counties for more than sixty years, died Friday after an illness of two weeks at a Council Bluffs hospital.

Mr. Keller, a native of Germany had made his home with A. C. Brandt, route 1 Council Bluffs, for the last nineteen years. The only surviving relatives live in Germany.

Funeral services whre held Monday at the Brandt home. Rev. A. C. Huff of Millard, Nebr., had charge of the services. Internment was made in the Lutheran cemetery, Oak township.


Funeral services for John Keller were held Monday at 2 p. m. at the residence of A. C. Brandt on route No. 1, Council Bluffs. Pallbearers were Carl Spetman, William Bostedt, Chris Dreyer, Herman Harnish, Thomas Jensen and John Buchanan. Interment was in the Lutheran cemetery.
