Mary L. Kennedy

Mary L. Kennedy, 64, Route 1, died Sunday at her home.

Mrs. Kennedy was a native and lifetime resident of Council Bluffs. She was a member of the Lutheran Church, and the widow of Jack W. Kennedy, who died in 1980.

Survivors include two daughters, Julie Kennedy, with whom she resided, and Mrs. Troy (Kelly) Kennedy Root of Council Bluffs; a son, Lee “Butch” of Council Bluffs; and four grandchildren.

Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Cutler Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. E. A. Hering of St. John Lutheran Church will officiate, with burial in the Plumer Settlement Cemetery.

Visitation with the family will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
