Luella M. King

Luella M. King, 85, a resident of Bethany Lutheran Home, died there Monday.

She was born in Mills County and graduated from Glenwood High School. She lived most of her life in Mills County and taught school in Glenwood for eight years.

She also worked with the American Red Cross in Sacramento, Calif., for 10 years and as a supervisor in the Douglas County Welfare Office in Omaha for 17 years.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Glenwood.

Survivors include one sister, Christine Cole of Council Bluffs; one brother, Arthur T. Thieschafer of Glenwood; nieces; and nephews.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Meyer Funeral Home with the Rev. Arlyn Sturtz. Burial will be in Plumer Settlement Cemetery.

Preceded in death by a sister, Lucille Kiersch. Survived by a sister, Christine Cole of CB and a brother, Arthur T. Thieschafer of rural Glenwood; nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Services 4-21-1993, Wednesday 11:00 A.M. Meyer Funeral Home, Rev. Arlyn Sturtz, pastor, Trinity Lutheran Church Glenwood officiating. Interment Plumer Settlement Cemetery.
