Mrs. Olive Lynch

Mrs. Olive M. Lynch, 52, 1020 S. 36th St., died Wednesday in a local hospital after a brief illness.

She was a native and lifelong resident of Council Bluffs, where she worked as a cashier for the Electrolux Corp. Mrs. Lynch was a member of St. Patrick's Church, the St. Patrick's Altar Society, and the Catholic Daughters of America. She was a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School.

Survivors include a son, Patrick of Lincoln, Neb.; her mother, Mrs. Minnie Brandt of Council Bluffs; a brother, Walter P. “Doc” of Council Bluffs; and a sister, Mrs. George Walker of Council Bluffs.

Parish and Catholic Daughters rosary will be 8:30 p.m. Thursday at the Beem-Belford Funeral Home.

Requiem mass is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Friday at St. Patrick's Church. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. Michael Schwarte will be celebrant. Burial will be at the Plumer Cemetery.
