Alfred T. Plumer

MINEOLA — Alfred T. Plumer, 14888 Highland Park Road, died Tuesday at a Council Bluffs hospital.

Mr. Plumer was born in Mills County and had lived in the Mineola and Council Bluffs areas his whole life. He was a lifetime farmer and livestock feeder in the Keg Creek Township.

Mr. Plumer was a lifetime member of St. John Lutheran Church, Mineola; and the Council Bluffs Elks Club.

He and his wife, Edna (Morse) Plumer, had been married 45 years.

Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Max (Katherine A.) Winfield of Council Bluffs; two grandsons; twin brother, Albert of Glenwood; two sisters, Marie Ewing of Wayne, Neb. and Pauline Carter of Las Vegas, Utah.

Service will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Lutheran Church, Mineola. The Rev. Donald Wilkowski, pastor, will officiate. Burial in Plumer Settlement Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Meyer Funeral Home.
