Bertha A. Saar, 91, of Council Bluffs died Oct. 11 at her home after an extended illness.

She was born in Omaha and had lived in Council Bluffs for 80 years. She was a member of the First Christian CHurch.

Mrs. Saar was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar, in 1993.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Lolly) Graybill and Judy Bailey, both of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Lester (Mary) Bremholm of of Honey Creek; one son, Otto, of Council Bluffs; one brother, Glen Sharp, of Council Bluffs; 10 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Monday at 10 a.m. in the Plumer Township Cemetery with the Rev. Jerold P. Morris officiating. The funeral cortege will leave Beem-Belford Funeral Home at 9:30 a.m. for the cemetery.
