Otto C. Saar

Otto C. Saar, 81, 2429 Fifth Ave., died Sunday at a local hospital following a short illness.

Born in Keg Creek Township, he was a lifelong resident of Pottawattamie County.

He was a retired farmer and a member of the Lutheran Church.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. T. J. (Myrtle) Campbell of McClelland, and Mrs. Francis Wright of Council Bluffs; son, Delmar of Council Bluffs; a twin brother Ed of Mineola; sister, Mrs. Martha Timm, of Council Bluffs; 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be a 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Meyer Chapel. James W. Larsen, parish intern at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, will officiate. Interment will be at the Plumer Cemetery.
