The funeral of Hans Schroeder, who died of apoplexy Monday evening, will be held Thursday. A short service will be held at noon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Evers, 2400 Avenue A, at which Rev. C. J. Ringer will officiate. The body will be taken to the German Lutheran church in the Plumer settlement, where services will be held at 2 p. m. by Rev. Mr. Hoff of Treynor. Interment will be made in the German Lutheran cemetery.


The funeral of the late Hans Schroeder, who died of apoplexy on Monday evening, was held Thursday afternoon. There were brief services at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Evers, 2400 Avenue A, at noon, conducted by Rev. C. J. Ringer of St. John's English Lutheran church, and then the body was taken to the German Lutheran church in the Plumer settlement, where services were conducted by Rev. Mr. Hoff of Treynor. The pallbearers were Henry E. Schoening, John Wortman, C. E. Allis, John Evers, Henry Brockman and Theodore N. Petersen. Interment was in the German Lutheran cemetery.
