Mrs. Minnie Schroeder, 63, route No. 1, Council Bluffs, died at 4:40 p. m. Tuesday at her home following a six weeks illness of complications.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p. m. Friday at the Cutler chapel with the Rev. O. C. Biermann of Mineola officiating. Burial will be in the Plumer Settlement.

Born June 12, 1883, in Germany, she came to the United States at the age of three years and had resided in Mills county for the last sixty years. Mrs. Schroeder was a member of the Lutheran church of Mineola.

She is survived by her husband, Carl W.; six sons, William H., of Council Bluffs, Arnold C., at home, Fred H., Lawrence H., Elmer A., and Carl W., Jr., all in the United States army; three daughters, Mrs. Marie Craigmile of Council Bluffs, Mrs. Martha Cooper of Omaha and Miss Helen Schroeder, at home; six brothers, five sisters, and four grandchildren

The body is at the Cutler mortuary.
