Carolyn J. “Tiny” Wilcox, age 70, of Council Bluffs, passed away April 3, 2012 at Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

Tiny was born September 16, 1941 in Council Bluffs to the late Francis H. and Mabel R. (Saar) Wright. She attended Thomas Jefferson High School.

Tiny married Kenneth “Porky” Wilcox on December 29, 1959 in Nebraska City, Nebraska. They were blessed with three children.

Tiny was a homemaker and a member of Fifth Avenue Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Kenneth “Porky” Wilcox of Council Bluffs; daughter, Connie Wilcox of Ocala, Fla; sons, Kenneth L. Wilcox, Jr. and wife Terri, Robert Wilcox and wife Michelle all of Council Bluffs; 6 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; sister, Molly Lewis; brother, Walter Wright and wife Kathy all of Council Bluffs and an extended list of friends who considered Tiny as a second mother. She will be greatly missed.

Visitation with the Family, Friday, 5 to 7 p.m., at Cutler-O'Neill-Meyer-Woodring Bayliss Park Chapel. Funeral Service Saturday, 11 a.m., at the mortuary with Rev. Kim Brouse officiating. Interment at Plumer Settlement Cemetery. A lunch will follow at the Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 E. Pierce St. Memorials are suggested to Fifth Avenue Methodist Church.
