At a regular meeting of the Evang. Luthern Salems Congregation in Plumers Settlement, Town of Oak, Mill's County Iowa, legaly convened for the purpose of incorporating said Congregation on the 14th day of October A.D. 1872 Mssrs Christopher Plumer and Peter Scheel were legaly elected trustees of said Congregation and they and their Successors in Office shall be known as the Trustees of the Evangl Luth Salems Congregation in the Town of Oak Mills County Iowa.
Given under our hands and Seals this fourteenth (14) day of October A.D. 1872
I Saml. Estel, Pastor of the above named Ev. Luth. Salems Congregation do hereby certify, that the meeting above named the said persons were duly elected Trustees of the said Congregation. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name this 14th day of October 1872.

On this 11th day of November A.D. 1872 before me H. K. McJunkin a Notary Public in and for said county and State personally appeared Peter Scheel and Christopher P. Plumer to me personally known to be the identical persons who signed the within instrument of writing and acknowledge the execution of the same to be their voluntary act and deed.
